There are several Premier League club players that can be recruited for free.
Clubs generally take advantage of every player transfer market to get new ammunition. They are eyeing players who can help boost the club’s performance.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic has made the club’s financial condition not good. As a result, players with free transfer status can be the best choice to take.
A number of star players, including Premier League stars, will have their contracts expired in June 2022. If there is no contract renewal, they can be obtained for free next year.
So who are the Premier League stars who can be signed on a free transfer next summer? Here are six of them:
Alexandre Lacazette has defended Arsenal since 2017. However, the French striker seems to be no longer in manager Mikel Arteta’s plans at the Emirates Stadium.
This season, Lacazette has often played off the bench. He has scored just three goals in 11 games in all competitions.
AC Milan is said to be interested in accommodating the former Olympique Lyon player. Atletico Madrid reportedly also wants to get Lacazette’s services.
Antonio Rudiger is an important player in Chelsea’s back line. However, Rudiger’s future seems increasingly distant from Stamford Bridge.
Rudiger has not yet agreed to a contract extension proposal from Chelsea. The German player is reportedly not happy with the nominal salary offered by the Blues.
The former AS Roma player has a great chance of leaving Chelsea at the end of the season. Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring the situation.

This season is the last year of Pogba’s contract with the Red Devils. However, so far there has been no agreement between the two parties.
Pogba could potentially leave on a free for a second time at the end of the season if United fail to renew his contract. Real Madrid have long been linked with Pogba.
Jesse Lingard looked stunning while on loan at West Ham last season. Lingard is able to score 9 goals and 5 assists in 16 Premier League games with the Hammers.
However, Lingard actually struggled to get a chance to play after returning to Manchester United this season. The 28-year-old has only appeared in 7 league games, scoring two goals.
Until now, Lingard has shown no signs of renewing his contract with the Red Devils. Due to the lack of playing opportunities, Lingard reportedly wants to leave Man United.
Andreas Christensen joined Chelsea as a youth team in 2012.
However, Chelsea have yet to reach an agreement with the player regarding his new contract.
Christensen himself is actually still relied on by Thomas Tuchel this season. The 25-year-old has appeared in 13 matches in all competitions by contributing one goal.
Hugo Lloris has been with Tottenham for almost a decade. However, Lloris’ association with the north London club could end at the end of this season.
Lloris is not yet willing to extend his stay at Spurs. The French goalkeeper reportedly wants to move to pursue domestic titles before deciding to hang up his boots.
The 34-year-old has played 386 games in all competitions for Tottenham. If Lloris leaves next summer, Antonio Conte will have the tough task of finding a new goalkeeper.
