Inter Milan won narrowly over Lazio in the match week 21 of Serie A 2021-22 at the Giuseppe Meazza, Monday (10/01/2022) early morning WIB.
In this match, Inter Milan made three substitutions from the squad that last played against Torino. Meanwhile Lazio made two changes from the team that previously faced Empoli.
Both teams played attacking and created a number of chances. Lautaro Martinez also scored a goal but it was disallowed because he was caught offside first.
Inter Milan’s goals were scored by Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar . Ciro Immobile scored a goal from Lazio .

The duel opens with both teams open play. However, the tempo of the match was relatively moderate. New great opportunities created in the 13th minute. Perisic heads Barella’s cross from the right flank. But his header from close range on the right side of Lazio’s goal was still soaring.
Inter finally scored in the 17th minute. Lautaro Martinez penetrated the Lazio defense and chased Barella’s through ball. He was finally able to beat the opposing goalkeeper easily in the penalty box.

However, the match was more intense. Both teams seem to be playing more cautiously.
A new opportunity was created in the 52nd minute from Milinkovic-Savic. But he failed to kick the ball from Anderson’s mature bait in the penalty box. Golden opportunity wasted.
In the 64th minute, Inter got two golden opportunities from the chaos in front of Inter’s goal. However, Dumfries’ ball can be blocked by Strakosha. Perisic struck the ball rebounded at the right post. Fortunately, his kick ball can still be blocked by Luiz Felipe.

In the end, Lazio could not score a reply. Inter Milan also won 2-1. This result makes Inter move up to the top of the 2021-22 Serie A standings with a collection of 49 points from 20 matches, while the Biancocelesti are stuck in eighth place with 32 points from 21 matches.
