Since BIGHIT MUSIC announced that Jimin BTS has not only tested positive for COVID-19 but has also undergone surgery for acute appendicitis, many fans are worried about his condition. The singer of “Permission to Dance” is now providing the latest update.

Earlier on January 31st, BIGHIT MUSIC made the announcement via Weverse. They reassured ARMY that so far, the symptoms of COVID-19 have not been too severe because Jimin has been vaccinated. Similarly, the operation he underwent was successful.

BIGHIT MUSIC revealed, Jimin experienced sudden stomach pain accompanied by a mild sore throat on the afternoon of January 30.

Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, and tested positive for COVID-19. The 1995-born singer underwent surgery following the doctor’s advice the morning of Monday, January 31.

According to the medical staff, the surgery was successful and Jimin is currently recovering after the procedure. He will receive several days of inpatient treatment for COVID-19 in connection with postoperative care. He currently has a mild sore throat but is making a speedy recovery, and has not had any contact with the other members during the infection stage.

After hearing the news about Jimin’s condition, ARMY took to several social media platforms, such as Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram, to share lots of love and support for him, wishing him a speedy recovery. On Twitter alone, “JIMIN JIMIN” and “#GetWellSoonJimin” surpassed that one million daily tweet.

Now, fans have heard from Jimin in a new Weverse update. The idol comforted ARMY and reassured them of his condition. “Everyone, are you all really that worried? I’m recovering well!” Jimin wrote.

BIGHIT MUSIC Released A Statement Via Weverse Regarding Jimin’s Health Condition. Unpleasant news came from BTS ( Bangtan Boys ).

On January 31, 2022, BIGHIT MUSIC released a statement via Weverse regarding Jimin’s health condition.

“Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to provide you with the following information regarding the current health status of BTS member Jimin,” the agency wrote in their opening statement.

BIGHIT continued, “Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, and tested positive for COVID-19. He underwent surgery following the doctor’s advice the morning of Monday, January 31.”

“According to the medical staff, the operation was successful and Jimin is currently recovering after the procedure. We will also diligently cooperate with requests and guidelines from health care authorities. Thank you,” concluded BIGHIT.

Previously Suga , Jin and RM ( Rap Monster ) also caught the virus, but have now fully recovered.

After a long vacation, the group will focus on releasing a new album and preparing for an offline concert in Seoul scheduled for March 2022.
