1. Las Vegas first hosted a Formula 1 race in 1981
Las Vegas first held a Formula 1 race in 1981. At that time the race took place at the Caesars Palace Circuit. Racing on the circuit lasted only two seasons until 1982.

2. Las Vegas entered the racing calendar, the United States will hold three racing series in the 2023 season
Starting the 2023 season, Las Vegas is back on the Formula 1 racing calendar. That means the United States will have three racing series in a season.
Prior to the entry of the Las Vegas GP, the United States regularly held Formula 1 races at the Circuit of The Americas, Austin, since 2012. Meanwhile, in the 2022 season, the Miami GP will officially hold a race on May 6-8, 2022.
3. Brief data about the Las Vegas GP circuit layout
The Las Vegas GP will be held on the streets of The Strip area. This area is known for having many famous hotels and casinos that are frequented by tourists. Based on Racing News 365 data , this road track will have a length of 6.12 kilometers and 14 bends.
If you look at the layout, there are three long straight tracks. First, from exit bend 4 to bend 5.
Then, the next long straight track is from the exit of Turn 9 to Turn 11. Finally, the straight track stretches from the exit of Turn 13 to before Turn 1.
The placement of the DRS will most likely be placed on two of the three long straight tracks. The top speed that can be obtained is estimated to reach 342 km / hour.

5. Formula 1 CEO welcomes the presence of the Las Vegas GP
