Most of the strongest anime characters have special powers that increase their fighting resistance.
This power is mostly obtained by talent, gift, or heredity. This is what makes them super strong and feared by their opponents. However, there are also a small number of characters who become very strong just by relying on their physical abilities.
These characters are a human species that trains hard to achieve their goals.
They are not gifted with other super abilities to become super strong figures. Goku from Dragon Ballis one of the strongest characters in the anime universe. Goku has forged his powers since he was a child by training his physique under the direction of his teacher, Jin Kura-Kura. Although physically strong, but Goku was awarded the power within him as a descendant of the alien Saiyan race.
The strongest characters on this list are purely human characters who are physically strong without any mystical or spiritual powers. They can become very strong by training hard and risking everything. Anyone? Here’s the review!
Asta — Black Clover
Growing up in a kingdom where almost everyone has magical powers from birth makes Asta into a different person. He wasn’t born with that magic power even though he wanted so badly to become the Sorcerer King. However, this condition did not dampen his enthusiasm to become a Magic Knight of the Clover Kingdom.
Hence, he used all of his time to train his physique to make up for that shortcoming. Ironically, Asta’s inability to magic is actually useful. Because he has no magic power and is equipped with a strong physique, Asta can wield anti-magic weapons that are useful in battle.
Kenshiro — Fist of the North Star
Kenshiro is the master of Hokuto Shinken. He mastered martial arts after being determined to improve himself and training hard. He travels in a post-apocalyptic world and will fight anyone who abuses the weak. Kenshiro has incredible strength, a honed sense of combat, and the ability to end any foe when he strikes the right pressure point. Even though he doesn’t have as many character arcs as the other characters on this list and doesn’t get stronger in the series, Kenshiro is still a formidable opponent who can defeat any foe if they let their guard down.
Guts — Berserk
Guts is a powerful warrior who managed to end a very powerful demon with his enormous Dragon Slayer sword. Nicknamed the Black Swordsman, Guts had no mystical powers to help him. Fortunately, he has a strong physique thanks to his tough life forging and also equips himself with a variety of weapons. Guts’s actions are better in the manga than in the anime. He slaughtered demons like a possessed person. So strong and skilled, Guts even managed to slay a god during his journey to cripple his former comrade, Griffith. Even though he only relies on his physique and weapons, Guts can win in almost every battle even against the strongest enemy.
Tray Hanma — Tray the Grappler
Baki is a very muscular teenager. His only goal in life is to defeat his father, who is also the strongest living being in the world, Yujiro Hanma. In order to achieve his goals, Baki continues to train himself. He trains his body by putting himself in dangerous situations.
He can defeat many masters of various fighting styles. This includes Pickle, a caveman who could immobilize any dinosaur and survive the modern era while frozen in a glacier. Baki’s great strength comes purely from honing and disciplining his body and fighting techniques. This makes him one of the strongest fighters in all of anime.
Might Guy — Naruto
Might Guy was born without the talent to master various ninjutsu or genjutsu in the Naruto ninja world. However, that did not discourage him. To make up for that shortcoming, he put all his efforts into taijutsu. This meant that he would have to work at least three times as hard as his peers in order to match them. All his efforts paid off. His taijutsu skills put him at a level of power that only other ninjas could imagine. Even Madara acknowledged him as the strongest taijutsu master. In combat, Might Guy relies on his physical strength.
