One Piece is thelongest running shounen animethat has started since 1999. Recently, Toei Animation and its loyal fans have just celebrated the series which has finally reached 1000 episodes. Happiness, sadness, to a tense battle, Luffy and his friends have been through a lot in the past two decades.

Well, from 1000 episodes, this time the author has summarized the five best episodes in the One Piece anime . Curious how many episodes? Check out the following reviews.

Disappearing Crewmates – The Final Day of the Straw Hat Crew (Episode 405) : This episode is an emotional one, as fans might think that this is the end of the Straw Hat Pirates’ journey. The Straw Hats actually suffered a crushing defeat in their fight on the Sabaody Archipelago.

With his power, Bartholomew Kuma separated the Straw Hat crew by throwing them at random faraway places. When Luffy was separated from his crew, Luffy just stood still and couldn’t do anything. Luffy was even more devastated when Kuma said that he would never be reunited with his crew.

Looking for the Answer – Fire Fist Ace Dies on the Battlefield (Episode 483) : Undoubtedly, this is an episode that One Piece fans will always remember . How not, in this episode, fans must lose the pirate they love the most, namely Portgas D. Ace.

In the battle at Marineford, the Straw Hats and the Whitebeard Pirates banded together to free Ace from the Marines. At first, Ace was saved. However, when Akainu tried to kill Luffy, Ace immediately sacrificed his life to protect his younger brother.

There is nothing Luffy can do but cry over Ace’s death. Until now, Ace’s death is still the most influential thing in the One Piece series .

The Exploding Fist! Destroy the Auction (Episode 396) : In this episode, the Straw Hats attempt to save Keimi from a human auction. However, their plans continue to be thwarted by the World Noble, Saint Charlos. When Hatchan accidentally reveals that he is a Fish-Man, Charlos shoots him straight away.

Charlos looked proud and happy that he had shot Hatchan. Suddenly, this made Luffy very angry, so without thinking, Luffy immediately punched Charlos in the face. Despite the huge consequences, seeing Luffy teach someone as bad as Charlos a lesson is the most satisfying moment in the series.

Say You Want to Live! We Are Your Friend (Episode 278) : Another one of the most moving episodes in the One Piece series . In this episode, the Straw Hats really prove their loyalty to their best friend. The Straw Hats don’t even care if they become enemies of the World Government, if it means saving their friends.

Nico Robin was really cornered in a very difficult choice. He really likes the Straw Hats, but he can’t stay with the Straw Hats. So far, Robin has always been wanted by the World Government. If he continues with the Straw Hats, the World Government will automatically hunt down the Straw Hats. Therefore, Robin decided to turn himself in for the safety of the Straw Hats.

However, the Straw Hats will never leave their friends. After Robin declared that he wanted to live, Luffy told Sogeking to burn the World Government’s flag. With that, the Straw Hats declared war on the World Government.

Settling the Score – Whitebeard vs. The Blackbeard Pirates (Episode 485) : One of the things that makes Marineford the best arc in this series is that a lot of unexpected things happen in this arc . If Ace’s death is still less surprising, Eiichiro Oda provides another surprise by killing one of the most important characters in the One Piece series , namely Whitebeard.

In this episode, Whitebeard fought against Blackbeard to avenge the deaths of Ace and Thatch. Unfortunately, because of his already fragile body, Whitebeard could not match the strength of Blackbeard and his allies. Until finally, the Blackbeard Pirates managed to defeat Whitebeard.

In his final seconds, Whitebeard did the same with his rival, Gol D. Roger, where he declared that One Piece existed.

During the more than two decades of the series, there have been many unforgettable moments in the series. This series features a lot of unforgettable moments, so there’s no telling how many of the most unforgettable moments in the series. So, what do you think about the five episodes above?
