The SM Entertainment agency was forced to postpone the Red Velvet concert schedule which was planned to be held this month. The decision follows reports of three Red Velvet members, namely Irene, Joy, and Yeri who tested positive for Covid-19. “The ReVe Festival: Prologue 2022 special live concert scheduled for March 19 and 20, 2022 has been temporarily postponed,” said the SM Entertainment agency in an official statement, reported by Soompi , Monday (14/3/2022).

SM Entertainment explained that tickets purchased by fans will be fully refunded. Meanwhile, the replacement concert schedule has not been confirmed yet. “All tickets will be fully refunded. The schedule for the upcoming concert will be decided after reviewing the Covid-19 situation and the health of the artists,” the agency said.

Red Velvet’s new mini album titled The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm will be released according to the initial schedule. Previously, it was reported that Irene, Joy and Yeri received reactive results from their routine self-kit test during the Covid-19 pandemic. Then, the three confirmed again by undergoing a PCR test and the results were positive.

Irene, Joy and Yeri are undergoing treatment at home and are not showing any symptoms. Two other Red Velvet members, Seulgi and Wendy, have received negative PCR test results for Covid-19.

Red Velvet Announces Bloom’s Japanese Album Release Date

Girl group Red Velvet has just announced the release date for their first full Japanese album titled Bloom. Initially, Bloom was scheduled to be released this February 2022. However, due to production reasons, the launch of Red Velvet’s first full Japanese album was forced to be postponed.

Now, after waiting for confirmation for a month, Red Velvet has announced the release schedule for Bloom’s album. Bloom’s album will be physically released on April 6, 2022. Red Velvet will present some content ahead of the release of the Bloom album.

Starting this weekend, on March 13, 2022, the five-member girl group will release a series of photos. Then, there are highlight medleys, teasers, individual music videos, and group music videos. The music video for Bloom’s title track “Wild Side” will be released on March 28, 2022.

Meanwhile, Bloom will contain a total of 11 songs, including 5 original songs from Japan. Kelima lagu tersebut ialah “Wild Side”, “Marionette”, “Jackpot”, “Snap Snap”, dan “Color of Love”.
