Seo Kang Joon is a famous South Korean actor who is 28 years old. He is confirmed to be enlisting in the military on November 23, 2021. After completing basic training, the actor will serve as an active duty soldier.

Although this year Seo Kang Joon is not starring in dramas or films, his two newest acting projects are planned for release in 2022. The owner’s real name Lee Seung Hwan has finished filming for the Disney+ original drama Grid and the movie Happy New Year.

1. Cheese in the Trap (2016)

Stealing attention as the second lead, Seo Kang Joon’s name is increasingly recognized after starring in the drama adaptation of the webtoon, Cheese in the Trap. He acts as a talented pianist named Baek In Ho.

This drama is about the relationships and lives of a group of college students. The story centers on Hong Seol (Kim Go Eun), a hard-working college student who is in a relationship with Yoo Jung (Park Hae Jin). Yoo Jung is a senior figure who is smart, popular, and rich, but has a dark side inside of him.

 

2. Are You Human Too? (2018)

Seo Kang Joon successfully played a double role as Nam Shin and the robot Nam Shin III in Are You Human Too?. This romantic fantasy drama also stars Gong Seung Yoon, Lee Joon Hyuk, and Park Hwan Hee.

Are You Human Too? tells the story of Nam Shin, a descendant of a conglomerate who was separated from his mother since childhood. The mother then developed a robot named Nam Shin III which is very similar to her son. When Nam Shin falls into a coma due to an accident, the robot must adapt to take his place.

3. The Third Charm (2018)

The Third Charm is a romantic drama starring Seo Kang Joon and Esom. The drama also features lots of mouthwatering food and beautiful scenery.

This drama tells the love story of On Joon Young (Seo Kang Joon) and Lee Young Jae (Esom) who have opposite personalities. Their meeting began when they were 20 years old on a blind date. Joon Young and Young Jae’s relationship ran aground, but fate kept bringing them back together at the age of 27 and 32.

4. Watcher (2019)

Seo Kang Joon continues to develop his acting talent by trying out the crime thriller genre on Watcher. In this drama made by OCN, he competed acting with two of his seniors, Han Seok Kyu and Kim Hyun Joo.

Seo Kang Joon plays a young police officer named Kim Young Goon. A tragic incident 15 years ago brought him together with a senior detective and former prosecutor. They work together to uncover corruption and injustice within the police force.

5. When the Weather is Fine (2020)

When the Weather is Fine is Seo Kang Joon’s last drama before serving in the military. Set in winter in a village, this romantic healing drama teaches how to forgive and make peace with the past.

Told, Mok Hae Won (Park Min Young) is a cello teacher who returns to his hometown to find inner peace. There, Hae Won meets Im Eun Seob (Seo Kang Joon), a neighbor and high school friend who has secretly had feelings for him for a long time.
