Man City drew 2-2 against West Ham in the 37th week of the 2021/2022 Premier League at London Stadium, Sunday (15/5/2022).
In this match West Ham fielded their best squad. Meanwhile, Man City made a number of rotations.
The goals from West Ham were scored by Jarrod Bowen (brace). Meanwhile, Manchester City’s goals were produced by Jack Grealish and an own goal by Vladimir Coufal.
West Ham immediately stepped on the gas so the first half began. They immediately threaten the goal
Manchester City. They had a chance in the third minute through Dawson’s header, but the ball was still not on target.
The 24th minute, West Ham finally scored. Pablo Fornals volleyed into the back of the Man City defense and the ball was chased by Jarrod Bowen. He passed Ederson and then scored easily. 1-0.

In the 34th minute Rodri opened fire after receiving feedback from De Bruyne. But the ball went out of bounds after hitting Soucek.
In the 39th minute City got a chance from Zinchenko’s kick. But the ball went wide of the target.
West Ham then scored again in the 45th minute. Again Bowen listed his name on the scoreboard, this time after using a pass from Michail Antonio. 2-0.
In the second half Manchester City appeared adamant since kickoff. The result, they can score a goal in the 49th minute. Zinchenko’s cross was headed home by Rodri and Jack Grealish grabbed the ball. 2-1!
In the 53rd minute, Jesus opened fire against West Ham. But Fabianski can still block the ball out of the field.
In the 60th minute, City got the opportunity from De Bruyne’s free kick. But the ball rolled thin over the West Ham goal.
In the 65th minute, West Ham got a golden opportunity when Fernandinho’s backpass was snatched by Antonio. He then released a chip kick to trick Ederson. Unfortunately the ball is still wide of the target.
The 69th minute, Man City finally scored. This time, however, it was through the suicide of Vladimir Coufal, who was wrong to anticipate Riyad Mahrez’s free kick. 2-2!
75 minutes West Ham almost scored. But Bowen’s kick can still be blocked by Rodri’s feet.
In the 86th minute, Man City got a golden opportunity to score. They were awarded a penalty after Dawson was charged with fouling Jesus after the referee looked at VAR. However, Mahrez’s execution could be blocked by Fabianski.
In the end there were no additional goals created. The 2-2 score lasted until the end. With this result Manchester City now have 90 points from 37 games and are temporarily four points ahead of Liverpool in second place and have yet to play their 37th game. Meanwhile West Ham collected 56 points and was stuck in seventh place.
